Brookhollow Summer Sale 2015

To celebrate the coming of warm weather, beach time and backyard barbecues, we’re hosting our first annual Summer Sale. Take advantage of $10, $15 or $25 off your order with code BSA615. Offer expires June 30.

Bring summer into the office with these ideas

  1. Host a barbecue. A great way to provide employee encouragement and promote team building between your staff members is to host a barbecue. Place a grill in your office parking lot, garage, on a roof or deck and mingle over hot dogs and veggie burgers. Bring some watermelon, too, nothing says summer like a fresh red watermelon.
  2. Open the windows. Many offices rely on climate control like air conditioning and heat to keep workers comfortable all year-round. Since summer is just beginning, your staff may enjoy getting a chance to feel as if they were outside while they’re working. To promote this, turn the AC off for a day and open the windows. Just be sure to use paperweights on materials that might blow away. You never know when a rogue gust of wind may hit.
  3. Impose summer office hours. Warm temperatures won’t last forever, so take advantage of them while you can by imposing an earlier end to the work day. Shave off half an hour or an hour every day until fall hits so your employees can get out and enjoy the sun. You can even change the office start time so it’s earlier, allowing your employees to come in when it’s still cool in the morning and leave when there is still plenty of sunlight left. Your staff (and you) will be happier and more productive. Just be sure to let your clients know about your new hours.
