3 tips for choosing the right business greeting card

Browsing the many pages of available business greeting cards online can be daunting – especially if you don’t know where to start! This task may seem insignificant, but these mailings are client- or customer-facing and therefore represent your company in the larger world. Don’t fret, though. We’ve come up with these three tips for helping you nail down just what cards you should consider:

Think style

All business communications from one company should adhere to a style guide. This means following the same branding principal –  think font, colors and logos – between printed and digital marketing. Take a look at emails for your business or perhaps printed fliers and then use them as inspiration when selecting greeting cards. If you don’t find one that fits your needs, you can always customize a card.

“Humor is a memorable way to reach customers.”

Consider tone

Many companies would prefer to send greeting cards that are simple and convey a message such as, “Happy holidays!” Some, though, turn to humor in the hopes that their clients will remember their funny cards fondly and return to their businesses for the provided goods and services. Consider what tone your company wants to convey and then look for cards that match.

Ask for free samples

Brookhollow offers free printed samples on most of its greeting cards. You can fully customize the cards to see exactly what you’re ordering ahead of time. You can get up to three samples with your preferred size and paper stock to peruse and even request expedited shipping if you need them in a hurry. Personalize a few cards and then order samples so you can decide which to choose.

Don’t hesitate to ask for second and third opinions from others in your office. Speak with the marketing staff as well as the bosses who may approve the design before you make a purchase.
