Inspiration at its finest

Does anyone watch The Biggest Loser? I will confess, up until last night I did not watch the show. I was home flipping through the channels and landed on the season finale. Needless to say, I am now sucked in and will definitely be watching next season.

For those of you who missed it, the winner was Danny Cahill who lost 239 pounds and took home the $250,000 grand prize. Danny went from 430 pounds to a fit 191 pounds (55.58% of his original weight...wowzers!).

What I find most impressive is not how much weight these contestants lost (although still quite impressive) but how much of their lives they take back and how inspirational they are to others. They have been paralyzed for years battling their issues and this show is the first step in taking control of their lives again. In addition, how inspiring and motivating these stories are for everyone watching. The contestants may not know it at the time but laying it all out there is motivating THOUSANDS of people to battle their own issues.

So I begun to think to myself.....am I being all that I can be? What have I done lately to inspire/motivate someone?

Often at work we go on with our day to day tasks but rarely take the time to recognize those around us. Whether it be for a birthday, anniversary or to thank someone on a job well done....everyone appreciates being recognized. A small gesture of 'you did an amazing job on that project' or 'thanks for helping me out' can go a long way and motivate others around you to be the best they can be.

Thank YouWay to go!
Brookhollow offers a HUGE selection of business greeting cards designed to recognize, inspire and motivate. We offer business birthday cards, anniversary cards, thank you cards and achievement cards. We also have greetings cards for more difficult occasions - get well cards and sympathy cards.

A large variety of greeting card assortment packs are also available to make recognizing life's events convenient and affordable.

So I challenge you to take the time to recognize/inspire someone....it may be just the motivation someone needs to get them on the road to being the best they can be.
